Jim Kilgore, Director

Jim received his B.A. in Biblical Studies and his M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Colorado Christian University and studied Hebrew poetical literature at Denver Seminary.  Jim presently serves as Pastor of Branches Community Church in Reno Nevada and is the Donation Coordinator for Easter Seals Sierra Nevada, raising community support for children and adults with disabilities. 

Jim is both an Ordained Minister and a Licensed Professional Counselor. For 10 years, he developed and supervised the largest free faith based clinic in Nevada as the Director of Life Development and Education at Sparks Christian Fellowship. As a counselor, Jim was in private practice for ten years specializing in adolescent issues, marriage and family therapy, addictions and depression.  As an educator, he taught college-level theological studies in Colorado for ten years. Drawing from his experience as a counselor, educator and pastor, Jim offers the expertise and the compassion to help people move toward wholeness on the healing path. Jim and his wife, Jo Ann have been married since 1973 and have two adult sons, James and Joshua and four grandchildren.
