Financial Needs:

As the statistics indicate, there are teens in our communities that need a place to get away from the pressures of their peers and develop life skills. Our mission is to welcome these teens into the family at Sierra Nevada Teen Ranch. We know the Ranch is a BIG dream and will take determination, persistence, vision and faith. Sierra Nevada Teen Ranch is supported by the financial contributions of individuals, businesses, foundations, churches and organizations that desire to help teens. We need you to join us in building Sierra Nevada Teen Ranch so that we might make a difference in our teens and the world.

Capital Projects Phases.

We are committed to financial stewardship and therefore will build Sierra Nevada Teen Ranch as funds are raised and available. Each capital project cost includes an endowment component, which is monies that will be invested. Only the interest earned will be used to provide a permanent source of operating income directly applied to the use and maintenance of the respective capital project. It is our desire to build in three Capital Project Phases. For example, we acquired land in phase one and will build four living homes in Phase 2. We also hope to build an administrative office and stable in Phase III.

Operational Costs.

Even before Phase I commences, a significant investment of time and coordination by the founder will be required. As a 501(c)(3), Sierra Nevada Teen Ranch must ensure its proper formation under both Nevada Corporate and Federal Tax laws. Additionally, the President must obtain initial seed capital for funding the administrative duties required to secure funding for construction and operations of Phase I.
